Obituary of Robert F. Dawson
Bobby F. Dawson, 72, of Tightwad, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the Kansas City VA Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. He was born September 27, 1949 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Robert Crane Dawson and Bonnie Lou (Oldham) Dawson. Bobby was employed as an HVAC technician for several years. He also was a welder for many years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the United States Army as an infantryman from 1968 to 1971. Some of his favorite things to do were drinking a cold beer while working on cars, fishing, playing pool, winning numerous trophies with his billiards skills, playing poker and trapping raccoons. At the top of the list was hanging out with his grandson Drake. Bobby had a keen sense of humor. Surviving are one son, Timothy Dawson, Phillipines; brother John Patrick Dawson (Marilyn), Dixon, Mo.; half-brother, Clifford Wagner, Jr. (Mary), Vienna, Mo.; half-sister, Denise Branch, Vienna, Mo.; 3 grandchildren; his step-father, Clifford Wagner, Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Christy Dawson; and two brothers, Mike Dawson and Danny Dawson. Bobby wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time.
