Obituary of Ronnie L. Noland

Ronnie Lee Noland, 69, of Buffalo, Missouri, formerly of Clinton, Mo., passed away Saturday morning, April 16, 2022 at the Colonial Springs Care Center in Buffalo, Mo. Ronnie was born July 28, 1952 in Kansas City, Mo., and grew up in Lee’s Summit, Mo., where he played baseball and football and started working young in the family service station business, Noland and Son. He moved to the Golden Valley area in the late 60s to work at the family cattle farm. He was married to Linda Kay Noland on March 30, 1974 at the Blue Ridge Methodist Church in Kansas City. The couple recently celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary. Ronnie was well known locally working for many years as a Coca-Cola Route Salesman in the Clinton Area. Later he worked for 10 years at Truman Lake State Park Marina where he made many friends and even did a weekly fishing report on the radio. He was an Assistant Coach for Calhoun High School Basketball and helped run the time clock at home games for many years. His interest in sports and love for helping kids lasted throughout his life. Most recently Ronnie worked as co-owner of A&M Automotive in Clinton and affectionately was known as the “Tow Man” by those who knew him well. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie Thomas Noland and Ruth Marguerite (Rock) Noland. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Kay Noland at the Colonial Springs Care Center, Buffalo Mo., where they have resided together these last few years. Other survivors include his son Charlie T. Noland and wife Kara Denise Noland and grandchildren Tamara, Toshia, and Tagert of Lake of the Ozarks. Ronnie had many talents and loved working outdoors. He was strong and fearless but his best quality was his love and compassion. He was always quick to make a joke and always willing to help a friend. He taught his family unconditional love and would go to any lengths for those he loved. Memorial graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Calhoun Cemetery, Calhoun, Mo.
