Obituary of Gail Elaine Hendrix
Gail Elaine Hendrix, 61, of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Clinton and Osceola, Mo., passed away Monday evening, March 28, 2022 at her home. She was born July 7, 1960 in Ottawa, Illinois, the daughter of Delmar Charles Bond and Caryl Elaine (Sealey) Bond. She married Steve Hendrix on April 26, 1986 and they shared and enjoyed over 35 years of marriage. Gail attended First Baptist Church in Clinton for many years. She formerly attended the Grace United Methodist Church in Osceola. She was employed as a registered nurse with the Sac Osage Hospital in Osceola for 15 years. She then was a school nurse with the Osceola, Clinton and Harrisonville, Mo., school districts for 15 years, retiring in 2010. She enjoyed going to the beach, and loved to sing. Her greatest joy was being “Gigi” to her grandson. Gail was easy to talk to, easily making friends everywhere she went. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Tyler Hendrix, Denver, Colorado; one daughter, Tina Hendrix, Overland Park, Ks.; one grandson, Jonathan Dill, Overland Park, Ks.; and her mother, Caryl Crenshaw, Raymore, Mo. She was preceded in death by her father, Delmar Bond; and one sister, Linda Hibbs. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., just prior to the memorial service.
