We were sorry to hear of Mary Jo’s passing. Recently I was thinking of you and Mary Jo as I was reminiscing of the times shared during her Bible Studies, the Gaither trips and the Jamaican mission trips where she was the chief chef. I remembered on one occasion, Mary Jo hopped in a dune buggy with Brent and they sped down the gravel road with the dust and gravel flying. Upon their return she had a big smile on her face saying that the trip was exciting. Mary Jo’s leadership of Bible Studies led people to learn of God's love and grace. Brent and I appreciate the memories we have of Mary Jo's fellowship. Please accept our sincere condolences.

Mary Jo was the one of the best in every category. She taught me to set the bar high and it could be achieved. The time I was so fortunate to get to spend with her in the summer was the high lite of my high school years. She was definitely an angel on earth. My deepest condolences to Kent and Family.

In this time of confusion, division, and animosity - it is even more tragic to lose such a bright light. Mrs. Cable was my teacher and things I learned from her have helped me grow every day. My deepest sympathies, Kent. You were the love of her life and I hope your memories bring you peace. I am sure you have a host of wonderful memories - as I wouldn't expect she would have been a part of anything else. That's just the kind of person she was.

Kent, you are in my heart and prayers as you grieve the loss of Mary Jo. I have so many fond memories of time with her. She met with Lee Ann and me monthly to pray for Grace and Gladness Ministries. Such spiritual wisdom she share with us. I appreciated the wisdom you both shared during council meetings. I remember with fondness sharing a weekend with Mary Jo at your lake house. She was a totally wild woman on the jet ski! Thank you for sharing your lives with us.

I am so thankful to have known her, and was able to attend her bible studies. She had a gift of teaching and explaining the Bible in such a way that a person not only wanted to learn everything in the scriptures but to actually live it. She is in a better place than we, and loved by so many. May God fill this loss with peace and precious memories of her.

MJ you were so loved.....and we knew we were loved by you. I'm so happy for you because I know where you are!!! But I'm so very selfishly sad. All I can say is thank you for your wisdom, your friendship and most of all your love. I tried to find the appropriate vs for this but so much of Proverbs 31:10 pertains to this beautiful person. We were all your children we will arise and call you blessed, Sweet Friend. I will remember you fondly. Love, Brecklyn
