Obituary of Eleanor M. Seaton

Eleanor M. Seaton, 91, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday morning, September 24, 2020 at The Arbors At Glendale Gardens. She was born January 25, 1929 in Montrose, Mo., the daughter of Henry Boden and Louise Caroline (Firsick) Boden. She married Raymon Edward Seaton on June 23, 1952. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1998. Eleanor was a longtime cook for the Clinton School District. She was a faithful member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a former member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and just being outdoors. Surviving are one daughter, Kay Palmer, Haysville, Kansas; one grandson, Clint E. Palmer and his wife Mandy, Dodge City, Ks.; one great-granddaughter, Aubrey Rae Palmer; one brother, Harold Boden and his wife, Elaine, Montrose, Mo.; two sisters, Rose Story and Esther Douglas, both of Kansas City, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John Boden, Raymond Boden and LeRoy Boden; and four sisters, Kathryn Wagner, Mary Putthoff, Clara Mae Greufe and Florence Talley. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Clinton, Mo. A parish rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., just prior to the Mass. Face coverings are required inside the church. Interment will be in the Englewood Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or the St. Croix Hospice, and these donations may be left in care of the funeral home.
