Obituary of Allen T. Minor

Allen T. "Big Al" Minor, 84, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 at his home. He was born March 26, 1936, the son of William Thompson Minor and Mary Eva (Robertson) Minor. He married Patricia Ann Page on October 22, 1976 in Clinton, Mo. She survives of the home. He was employed as a truck driver for Williams Quarry, then worked for Clearfield Cheese for 18 years, and retired from Roberts Dairy in Kansas City, Mo., in 2001 after 18 years of service. He also raised cattle. He has been a member of Quarles Baptist Church since 1965. He was a member of the truckers union. Allen enjoyed riding horses, watching westerns and professional wrestling on television, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, surviving are one son, Clifford Dean Hall, Independence, Mo.; one daughter, Angela Nicole "Niki" Minor, and fiance Mark Rich, Clinton, Mo.; five grandsons, Monti Minor, Toby Willcockson and wife Jennifer, Nik Minor and wife Danielle, Travis Minor and wife Tiffany, and Donovan Hall; two granddaughters, Chelsea Stewart and Katrina Stewart and significant other, Nathan Fannin; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Leonard Minor and wife Patty, Centerview, Mo.; numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tommy Minor in September of 2018; one brother, William "Bill" Minor; and one sister, Mary Louise Pell. Graveside services and interment will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Mineral Creek Cemetery, Leeton, Mo.
