Obituary of Gerald Pugh
Gerald E. Pugh, 76, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Wednesday evening, July 11, 2018 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.
He was born March 28, 1942 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Pearl Edward Pugh and Irene Evidene (Grathouse) Pugh. He married Nancy Ruth Roberts on May 23, 1959 in Kansas City, Kansas. She survives of the home.
Gerald was employed for many years as a meat cutter with A & P. He very much enjoyed working in his yard. He liked to fish and was a former Golden Gloves boxer.
In addition to his wife, surviving are, two daughters, Jean Ballard and husband Jimmy, Stratton, Colorado and Cindy Burns, of the home; six grandchildren, Mark Lupton, Charles Lupton, Shawna Reed, Nancy Burns, Melissa Conner and Misty Conner; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol Fuller and husband Don, Shawnee Mission, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son Timothy M. Pugh; one grandson, Bradley Burns; and one brother, Gary Pugh.
A Celebration of Life and visitation will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery.
