Obituary of Clyde Weaver

Clyde Raymond Weaver, 95, Osceola, Missouri died Tuesday morning, March 13, 2018 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

He was born November 20, 1922 in Grove Springs, Mo., the son of James Claude Weaver and Stella Ann (Buttram) Weaver.  He married Roberta Ruth Moore in Grove Springs on October 18, 1941.  She preceded him in death on July 2, 2014.

 

Clyde owned and operated saw mills and later was a truck driver for Mid American Truck Line.  He was a member of the Wyandotte Tabernacle in Kansas City, Kansas; and the Local 41 Truckers Union.  He loved helping people when they were down on their luck.  His and Roberta's door was always open. 

 

Surviving are three sons, James Ervin Weaver and his wife Margie, Osceola, Mo., Raymond Wilber Weaver and his wife Beverly, Vista, Mo., and Ricky Dean Weaver, Osceola, Mo.; four daughters, Peggy Sue Prosser and her husband Bob, Kansas City, Ks., Judith Ann Perryman and her husband David, Conway, Mo., Carolyn Kay Roland, Osceola, Mo., and Connie Lynn Brintle and her husband Randy, Kansas City, Ks.;  19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Patsy Lucille Berger; one grandson, Timothy Ray Brazeal; three brothers, Ernest Weaver, Daniel Weaver and Verlin Weaver; and one son-in-law, Robert Eugene Roland.

 

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton, Mo.  Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Mo.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Condolences may be left online at www.bradleyhadley.com.
