Wesley E. Hennemann, 77, of Clinton, Missouri, formerly of Windsor, Mo., died Saturday afternoon, November 13, 2021, at University Hospital, Columbia, Mo. He was born February 7, 1944, in Eurlanger, Kentucky, the son of Wallace Edward Hennemann and Lucy Margaret (Allen) Hennemann. On May 17, 1987, he married Diana Lynn Morrison in Leadville, Colorado and they enjoyed 34 years of marriage. While living in Colorado, Wesley worked as a meat cutter and then at the Leadville mines. After moving to Missouri, he worked for Rival Manufacturing for 25 years at their plants in Warrensburg, Sedalia, and Clinton. He enjoyed taking care of the yard and fishing and camping with the family on summer weekends, often enjoying his favorite snack of peanut butter and marshmallow fluff and his favorite dinner of fried potatoes with fish or ham and beans. He attended Assembly of God of Windsor and was an active helper in Boy Scouts when his sons were young. Always lending a helping hand to anyone, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his wife Diana, survivors include 3 daughters, Cindy Hennemann, Newport, Kentucky, Threasa Frey, Taylor Mill, Ky., and Nicole Hennemann, Bonner Springs, Kansas; 2 sons, Wesley Hennemann Jr., Newport, Ky., and James Hennemann, Clinton, Mo.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Terry Hennemann and Marvin Hennemann, both of Newport, Ky.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law, Edwin and Carol Morrison, and a sister-in-law, Terrie O’Connel. Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton, with Rev. Tom Waller officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
