Winton S. “Ben” Utter, 90, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday morning, September 23, 2021 at the Redwood of Raymore Care Center in Raymore, Mo. He was born July 29, 1931 in Zillah, Washington, the son of William E. Utter and Mary Jane (Baker) Utter. Ben was employed as a police officer in Omaha, Nebraska for nearly 30 years. Upon moving to Clinton, Mo., he drove a school bus for the Clinton School District for 12 years. He was a former member of the Eagles Lodge #3667, Clinton. He enjoyed fishing, painting cars, and finding bargains at garage sales and auctions. He married Sonja Evelyn (Stewart) Kyral on September 28, 1985 in Omaha, NE. She preceded him in death on July 25, 2021. Surviving are two sons, David Wayne Utter and fiancé, Lori Pawley, Athens, Alabama, and Brian Craig Utter, Omaha, NE; one daughter, Rhonda Lynn (Kyral) Feist and husband, Pete, Clinton, Mo.; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
