Obituary of Ty Cravens
Ty M. Cravens, 32, of Clinton, Missouri died Thursday afternoon, September 14, 2017 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born July 5, 1985 in McKinney, Texas, the son of George Michael Cravens and Linda (Finnell) Cravens.
Ty attended Leesville Elementary and graduated from Clinton High School. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo., receiving his Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Science and Horticulture. Following graduation from college he worked for Premium Farms in Princeton, Mo., then coming home to work for Houk Excavation. For several years he has been with the Missouri Department of Conservation as a Fisheries Resource Assistant. Ty loved hunting, fishing and tending to his cattle. He was a member of the Elks Lodge; Ducks Unlimited; and Tanglefree Pro Staff.
Surviving are his mother, Linda Houk and husband Darrell, Clinton, Mo.; his father, George Michael Cravens, Allen, Tx.; one sister, Joey Hachtel and husband Jeff, Allen, Tx.; girlfriend Charity Neumann, Clinton, Mo.; beloved dogs, Goose and Nelli; two step-sisters, Michelle Houk, Clinton, Mo., and April Drescher and husband Robert, Sunrise Beach, Mo.; aunt, Kim Hansard, Rowlett, Tx.; one niece, Cheyenne Houk, Clinton, Mo.; two nephews, William Drescher, Jefferson City, Mo., and Zack Drescher and wife Liz, Versailles, Mo.; one great-niece, Genesis Drescher; one great-nephew, Moses Drescher; cousins, Steven and Clint Finnell, Kansas City, Mo. area, and Logan Teter, Rowlett, Tx.; and numerous other family, friends, and hunting and fishing buddies.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. Pastor Gary Kraft will officiate.
